Kynogon's mission

Kynogon develops and markets A.I. software for real-time behavior simulation. Kynogon's technology is used by the world's leading game developers (Activision, Atari, Digital Illusion CE, Electronic Arts, Lionhead Studios, Real Time Worlds, SEGA, Sony Online, Spark Unlimited, THQ, Turbine, ...) as well as industry leaders (EADS, British Aerospace, Rheinmetall Defense, EDF, ...)

Kynogon products solve complex Artificial Intelligence issues faced by interactive application developers. With Kynogon technology, virtual characters can move around in any 3D world, hide, understand their environment, communicate, cooperate, drive vehicles, etc.

Kynogon is the AI middleware market leader for the video game industry. Kynogon proposes Kynapse for games, a qualified tool and middleware for Nintendo's Wii™ and GameCube™, PLAYSTATION®3, PSP™, PlayStation®2, Xbox 360™ and Xbox™. Kynogon's technology is the most widely used game A.I. middleware around the world.

Kynogon also works with market leaders of the simulation industry. To the simulation industry, Kynogon proposes Kynapse for simulation, a powerful, extendable and easy to integrate solution. It has been selected by many companies to develop interactive applications in various domains such as military simulation, virtual avatars, accident simulation, etc.

Kynogon was founded in 2000 and has offices in France, Canada and the UK.

Founders

Pierre Pontevia





After graduating from the Ecole des Mines de Paris in 1987, Pierre (on the left side of the picture) developed his expertise in Artificial Intelligence at the CAOR laboratory of the Ecole des Mines in Paris. He then joined Matra Cap System where he continued research on A.I. After an MBA at Insead, he worked four years in management consulting at AT Kearney.

At Kynogon, Pierre is the CEO in charge of R&D, Product Development and Technical Support.
Jacques Gaubil



Jacques (on the right side of the picture) also graduated from the Ecole des Mines de Paris in 1987. His professional experience is truly international. He spent several years in South Korea, in the US, in Egypt, etc. mainly for AT Kearney management consulting company.

At Kynogon, Jacques is the COO in charge of Sales, Marketing and Finance.
